Position Overview
As a supervisor, you will be responsible for developing your team members while ensuring that we are providing a first-class customer service experience. As an essential part of the team, you will assist with increasing profitability as you train and develop with your staff.
- You have a strong leadership, personnel management and development
- You are responsible for coordinating and optimizing all processes in the branch
- You ensure a high level of customer satisfaction whilst adhering to our service standards
- You are responsible for the preparation, valeting and ensuring vehicles are to a high standard
- Actively providing a high level of customer service
- Ensure that any vehicle damages are reported, and the Branch Manager is notified
- Refueling of the vehicles when required
- Complete performance reviews on all employees and hold a meeting with the individual to discuss strengths and weakness.
- Organize and facilitate weekly staff meetings to keep employees motivated and informed of business operations
- Handle or assist in the resolution of customer service issues if other staff members are unable to.
- Ensure the effective process of all types of car rental transactions
- Monitor prices and set rates for walk-ups
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly competitive market analysis
- You are in charge of our internal (operations-) process controlling - (Controlling cash box, checking of overdue rental vehicles, reporting on customer satisfaction, fleet processes, branch to do list, health & safety etc.)
- Coach rental agents on how to improve sales and service.
- Provide excellent customer service in all customer contact situations
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the office area
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and confidence
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Meet with the branch manager to review branch progress
- Handle all telephone and email inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner
- You organize the day-to-day in the station
- Completing transactions for vehicle rental on the front office desks
- Selling SIXT’s full product range, offering exciting opportunities for ancillary sales enthusiasts
- Maximizing 'walk up' business
- Monitoring reservation and vehicle rental returns
- Greet our customers on the return of their hire for check-in
- Collecting and delivering vehicles between car parks and other locations
- Damage reporting
- Ensuring ready lines are full of correct vehicles
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of customer care techniques and processes
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in sales and customer service
- Must have good supervisory and strong communication skills
- Must have the ability to work under stressful and unusual situations in order to maintain good customer service
- Exceptional interpersonal skills required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to coach, motivate and interact with others
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi-staff members within the department
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Excellent analytical and listening skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
