Video Editor (Social Media Short-Form Content)

Our expectations:
As they establish their presence in Prishtina, we’re looking for a talented Video Editor to help bring content to life, especially short form content. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and experience creating engaging, platform-specific videos that resonate with target audiences. This part-time role allows for flexible hybrid working, with both remote and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
- TikTok & Short-Form Editing: Create engaging and viral-ready videos for TikTok and other short-form platforms.
- Podcast Clip Editing: Edit podcast clips to highlight key moments and optimize them for sharing on social media and personal brands.
E-commerce Brand Content: Edit TikTok clips and promotional content for portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure video content aligns with brand messaging
- Optimize videos for each platform to maximize engagement and performance
- Stay current with video trends, tools, and techniques to ensure content remains relevant and dynamic
- Incorporate feedback to continuously improve video quality and impact
- Experiment with new ideas to create fresh, engaging video content that elevates the brand

Requirements/ Desired criteria
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a focus on social media
- Experience in video editing, particularly for TikTok and short-form content.
-  Proficiency in video editing software, including knowledge of CapCut or similar platforms.
- Basic videography skills and a willingness to handle recording equipment.
- Knowledge of video formats, dimensions, and best practices for social platforms
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive attitude
- Experience working in fast-paced environments or start-ups is a plus
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a remote team
